Nowadays in church audiovisual materials
have been using to teach the Bible
but we have to be careful with using them,
especially for children,
those figures which explain easily and deepen interest about Jesus
or some characters are not to be engraved in their minds
as if they were real images and figures at least,
in order that kids do not mistake Jesus like a man who people imagine normally.
'Oh! Jesus looks like that!'
Those images were engraved into kids’ minds
and they would recall them in their images
as if Jesus is a simple man not God.
Matt16:16,
Simon Peter answered,
"You are the Christ, the Son of the living God."
This God might not be imagined or believed as figure or picture
which can be seen with eyes.
When they heard 'Jesus', they recall figure in their images
because those figures already were engraved in kids’ images,
which may become idols to them.
However, church has to teach, preach
and to have saints meet Jesus and God’s word by their spirits
because God’s word is Spirit and is to be heard with spiritual ears
to become spiritual faith.
That is, church has to make saints meet Jesus with word of God.
Jesus cannot be contained even in all the universe,
and He is God beyond all universe and our imagination,
so that we cannot appreciated Him
with our naked eyes by any figures or pictures
and God had prohibited to see and to look those things.
Therefore we have to be careful to teach children
with those audiovisual materials.

저도 주일학교 교사를 했지만,
주일학교 공과 교재가 100% 만화 캐릭터입니다.
아이들 눈높이에 맞춰 복음(예수님)을 설명하려는 것인데,
그로 말미암아 초래되는 결과 중 하나가
하나님이신 예수님을 단순히 사람으로만 생각해
예수님의 신성을 부인하거나
성경(복음)을 친숙한 이야기쯤으로 생각한다는 것입니다.
그러다 보니 그런 아이들이 어른이 되어서도 바른 믿음을 갖지 못하고
그저 교회 다녀본 경험은 있고
그릇된 열심(믿음)으로 충만한 교인만 되는 것 같습니다.
그리고 그렇게 배운 아이들이 어른이 되어
그 배운 대로 다시 아이들을 가르치고 지도하게 되니
다 함께 속임에서 헤어나오지 못하고 망하는 것 같습니다.
제가 영어 실력이 짧아서 한글로......

as a man and refuse His Divinity and think the Gospel
of a kind of normal story. Therefore as they have grown up,
they cannot have right faith but just attend church
with wrong enthusiasm. And as they had learned,
they too teach children as Sunday school teachers.
As a result, all of them, teachers and learners,
couldn’t get out of deceit
and are together on the way of destruction.
